Section 106 agreements are a mechanism used to make proposed developments acceptable to local authorities in planning terms. The agreements can include planning obligations which may:

·         Restrict the development or use of the land;

·         Require specified operations to be carried out on the land;

·         Require the land to be used in any specified way; or

·         Require sums to be paid to the local authority.

We can assist you in negotiating these obligations or appealing to the Planning Inspectorate where the authority refuses to make changes.
